Starstone itself is largely an effort of midnight engineering by Richard S. Wright Jr. My specialties are computer graphics (esp. OpenGL), and cross platform technologies for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android using C++ and Qt (I’ve used versions 3-5!). I was the lead author of the OpenGL SuperBible for the first five editions, and taught OpenGL/Shader graphics programming for 15 years at Full Sail University. I’ve worked on many commercial projects including scientific and medical visualization, simulation, and large scale distributed database systems for three decades. I’ve presented at the computer game developers conference, Apple’s WWDC, and am a prolific technical writer. If your in need of a surgical strike, porting help, or perhaps a part-time technology specialists, send me a note!
I’m currently a full time (remote) contractor for Software Bisque, helping to make the worlds best astronomy and imaging software, but I am also available for part-time development and consulting projects. When not occupied with these things, I’m usually busy with my own development or writing projects. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
