At Starstone, we have an old fashioned business model: we want to sell you software. Our revenue model is not based on page impressions, advertisements, or the marketing of personal information about our visitors. Thus we have a rather simple no nonsense privacy statement that we actually wrote ourselves.
- For our Visitors:
Starstone Software Systems Inc. does not collect any personal information about visitors to any of our sites. Furthermore, we do not use cookies or any Active X technology that would require storage on your machine.
- For our Customers:
Customers who order our software or CD ROM's either on-line or via mail are kept in our customer database. Your name, mailing address, e-mail and billing information is retained much as it would be by any traditional business. This information is not stored on-line by Starstone. Furthermore, we do not share our customer lists with anyone for marketing or promotional purposes. Starstone may contact you via your e-mail to notify you of product upgrades, or special offers if you are a customer. You will never be legitimately contacted by a 3rd party who obtained your contact information from us.
Orders are processed through a secure payment gateway (Authorize.net). Your credit information is not stored on our servers, but is processed (accepted or declined) in real-time.
