in 1996 by Waite Group Press. My boss at the time told me OpenGL was a fad and I
was making an awfully big career risk by taking a job (after the book came out)
in this industry. There was a chapter on using OpenGL with Borland C++ and OWL,
and a Visual Basic OCX. I remember very little about these technologies today.
Please don't ask me to explain how the OCX worked, or how to use OpenGL today
with Visual Basic. :-)
The source code is here if you do need it for some reason. Some of it's
rather embarrassing nearly 15 years later. If your not embarrassed by your own
15 year old code, then you haven't been programming long enough, and you haven't
learned anything in the last 15 years. That's a shame.
